Our Music

Connie	Our music program is led by choir director Connie Blauvelt.  Connie is a graduate of Wayne State University with a B.S. in Education and a major in Vocal Music Education.   She provides more than 20 years of experience in leading our music program.  “I believe that anyone can develop their singing voice, and I invite you to join us on Wednesday nights.  If you are a beginner we will meet before choir for training.”  Connie's warm smile and untiring commitment makes our experiences as spectators a real blessing! We are always amazed at the joyous sounds produced at Sunday worship! The Chancel Choir performs more traditional music and meets on Wednesday evenings for practice at 7:30 p.m.
	Our Praise Team ROCKS! It spotlights several of our teens and young adults as well as a few of the 'Baby Boomers' and is directed by Cathy Cordle. Cathy provides her beautiful voice and keyboard talents as well as several years of experience teaching and directing the students in theatrical performances at East Middle School in Farmington Hlls.    The Praise Team performs more contemporary music during every Sunday service.  They meet for practice on Sunday morning at 8:45 am before services.    (more Praise Team photos to come...)
This section Under Construction. Stay tuned.	Our Children's choir is truly a treasure! They perform  whenever there are special events and occasional services.  This particular photo was taken at the 2007 Christmas performance, "The Tale of the Drowsy Shepherd". This was a joint effort of many. A special thanks to Kim Anderson for her hard work in co-directing this precious tale!!! And to the artistic talents of all others involved in making this an absolute joy to behold! God is definitely present at Wellspring !!!!
	Also led by Connie Blauvelt, our Chime Choir meets on Mondays at 7:00 p.m.     There is usually a chime spot available for someone interested in filling in when there is an absence. Many of our members do "double duty" when somebody is away. Keep that in mind if you have an interest. Contact any member for more information..
