JUST A FEW NOTES IN CASE YOU WANT TO TRY TAKING A BALLOON RIDE..

Weather and wind conditions must be ideal. You will have a fair idea by early afternoon whether or not you'll be flying, so if the day looks bad, you will have to reschedule. You will have to call for final confirmation approximately 1 1/2 hours before the scheduled flight. So there is a small chance of cancellation if winds pick up last minute. You can usually expect to reschedule several times before weather conditions are ideal. BUT don't let that intimidate you.. It is well worth the wait!! AND They run all year long! Even in the winter!

You also can follow the flight in a car, but they want people to carpool, to cut down on traffic risks.  You can follow the chase crew., but not too closely, etc.  Total flight time usually averages 45 minutes to 1 hour..
